Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, and Galway, Ireland Photo Diary

This is my second time visiting Ireland and it still remains one of my favorite countries I’ve ever traveled to. I only had a couple days in Ireland so I stayed overnight in Dublin and used it as a base. During my time in Ireland, I took a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, and Doolin. In my opinion, day trips are a great way to experience the most of the country. I love being able to relax and admire the stunning countryside while someone else drives. Day trips through a company are organized with various stops for sightseeing and eating which makes it so much easier! If bus day trips aren’t for you, renting a car is another great option to see some of Ireland’s incredible countryside and different cities.

From Dublin, the Cliffs of Moher are about three hours away, and from the Cliffs, Galway is another hour. It’s possible to see both in one day. Next time I visit Ireland, I want to stay overnight in Galway and experience the city in more depth.

Here’s a few of my favorite shots from this green, rainy, cozy country:

My top 5 favorite travel destinations

Image-1.jpgI was fortunate enough to travel a lot this summer and recently I’ve been thinking about all of the experiences and memories I had. Everywhere I went was special but there are certain places that make me feel happiest when I look back on the pictures. I decided to share a list of my top 5 favorite travel destinations from this summer:

  1. Florence, Italy. Florence was my favorite city in Italy. Florence was also the first city I visited alone so it will always be significant to me. I immediately felt welcomed from the moment I stepped off the train. I am hoping to be back in Florence very soon in the next year or so.Β FullSizeRender.jpg-1.jpegFullSizeRender.jpg-2.jpeg
  2. Procida Island, Naples, Italy. Procida was the most colorful place I visited. The vibrant pastel colors on the buildings throughout the island always makes me happy to look at. Procida also had the best pizza I’ve ever tasted, which made the island even more enjoyable!Β FullSizeRender.jpg.jpegIMG_2700.JPG.jpeg
  3. Paris, France. I had high expectations of Paris, mostly because I had been wanting to visit since I was little. I was not disappointed. Paris offered a charming atmosphere unlike any other city I visited.Β FullSizeRender.jpg-3.jpegIMG_4372.JPG
  4. Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. Ever since I returned home to the USA all of my friends and family have been asking what country was my favorite. My answer has been Ireland. I went to several cities around Ireland, but of course, the Cliffs of Moher was the most breathtaking place. Ireland was my favorite mostly because of the calm environment and because it was much different than every other place I visited in Europe.Β FullSizeRender.jpg-6.jpegIMG_5242.JPG.jpeg
  5. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Orlando, Florida. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. The books, the movies, the aesthetic it has created for it’s fans over the years make me so overwhelmingly happy. The Harry Potter World has been on my bucket list for a few years now and I’m thrilled this summer I was finally able to go with my family.Β IMG_7287.JPG.jpegIMG_7071.JPG.jpeg

Photo Diary: Dublin, Ireland

I’ve spent the last two days in Dublin, Ireland and have loved every moment. Dublin is a beautiful city with great people, great food, and great things to do. I highly recommend visiting the Book of Kells exhibit located on Trinity College’s campus. Also, try a Guinness…I honestly did not think I would enjoy the taste at all but with a good burger I actually enjoyed it. Can’t go wrong with an Irish pub!

A Day Trip Across Ireland

Happy Monday! I left Paris yesterday and took a short flight to Dublin. Today, I went on an incredible day trip across Ireland. I was able to see the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Burren, and Galway all in one (long) day. I booked a bus tour through Irish Day Tours. I usually never prefer to site see by bus tours because most are strict with time because of the schedule and there are a lot of other tourists involved… which can sometimes take away from the experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this bus tour, it was wonderful. My tour guide/driver told Irish stories along the way and talked about the history of Ireland. If you are planning to visit Ireland, I highly recommend the Irish Day Tours company. They offer a lot of other tours throughout Ireland, but I was most interested in seeing the Cliffs of Moher.

Speaking of, the cliffs were INCREDIBLE. I have never seen anything more beautiful. As I mentioned, the tour consisted of other stops after the cliffs, which were equally amazing. Burren has a lot of rocks and smaller cliffs along the Atlantic, so extremely beautiful. Galway was the cutest town. We didn’t stay here long but I did have some time to walk around the city center, I instantly fell in love.

Ireland’s beauty is beyond what I imagined, I am in awe.
